ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

For all Bachelor Programs in Computer Sciences
Eligibility Criteria:
50% marks or 2nd division in F.Sc./FA/I.Com./A level* or equivalent.

For all Bachelor Programs in Management Sciences
Eligibility Criteria:
50% marks or 2nd division in F.Sc./FA/I.Com./A level* or equivalent.

For all programs in Health and Life Sciences
Eligibility Criteria:
60% marks F.Sc. (Pre-medical)/A level or equivalent.

For all Bachelor Programs offered by Department of Architecture and Department of Fashion Design
Eligibility Criteria:
50% marks or 2nd division in F.Sc./FA/I.Com./A level* or equivalent.

For B.Sc. Electrical Engineering
Eligibility Criteria:
60% marks in F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering)/A level* (Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry) or DAE in Electrical/Electronic Technology.

For B.Sc. Civil Engineering
Eligibility Criteria:
60% marks in F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering)/A level* (Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry) or DAE in Civil Engineering.

FLL.B – 5 Years
Eligibility Criteria:


  • 45% marks or 2nd division in F.Sc./FA/I.Com./ICS/A level or equivalent.
  • Test and interview
  • Any other conditions as prescribed by HEC and PBC rules

Note: All candidates will have to pass USA Admission Test and appear in Interview


Important Note for A Level Students: A-Level students are required to submit IBCC equivalent certificate.

Faculty of Computer Sciences

  • Student seeking admission in Masters program must have completed sixteen years of relevant education i.e. students seeking admission in MSCS must hold BSCS degree. It is to be noted that students with CGPA below 2.0 in undergraduate degree are not eligible for admission in Masters program.
  • Students with non-relevant 16-years degree must spend a year to complete prerequisite courses of respective Masters e.g. BBA joining MSCS must study 11 additional computer sciences courses.
  • Students holding 14 years Bachelors must spend 2 years to complete prerequisite of respective Masters e.g. BA joining MSCS must study 22 CS courses.

Faculty of Management Sciences

  • Student seeking admission in Masters program must have completed sixteen years of relevant education i.e. students seeking admission in MBA must hold BBA degree. It is to be noted that students with CGPA below 2.0 in undergraduate degree are not eligible for admission in Masters program.
  • Students with non-relevant 16-years degree must spend a year to complete prerequisite courses of respective Masters e.g. BBA joining MSCS must study 11 additional computer sciences courses.
  • Students holding 14 years Bachelors must spend 2 years to complete prerequisite of respective Masters e.g. BA joining MSCS must study 22 CS courses.

Faculty of Life and Health Sciences

  • Student seeking admission in Masters program must have completed sixteen years of relevant education. It is to be noted that students with CGPA below 2.5 in undergraduate degree are not eligible for admission in Masters program.

Faculty of Art and Design

  • Student seeking admission in Masters program must have completed sixteen years of relevant education. It is to be noted that students with CGPA below 2.0 in undergraduate degree are not eligible for admission in Masters program.
  • Students with non-relevant 16-years degree must spend a year to complete prerequisite courses of respective Masters.
  • Students holding 14 years Bachelors must spend 2 years to complete prerequisite of respective Masters.
Faculty of Engineering and Technology
  • Student seeking admission in Masters program must have completed sixteen years of relevant education. It is to be noted that students with CGPA below 2.5 in undergraduate degree are not eligible for admission in Masters program.
Faculty of Humanities
  • Student seeking admission in Masters program must have completed sixteen years of relevant education. It is to be noted that students with CGPA below 2.5 in undergraduate degree are not eligible for admission in Masters program.
  • Students with non-relevant 16-years degree must spend a year to complete prerequisite courses of respective Masters.
  • Students holding 14 years Bachelors must spend 2 years to complete prerequisite of respective Masters.
  • Students seeking admission in PhD program must have completed an MS/ MPhil degree with Thesis of 06 credit hours or its equivalent degree with thesis of 06 credit hours, in the relevant field from an accredited educational institution, with minimum CGPA of 3.0/ 4.0 in semester system, or 70% marks in annual system, with no third division (annual system) or D grade (semester system) throughout the academic career.
  • GRE (subject) as per HEC policy or NTS GAT (subject) with minimum score of 60.
  • Selection of applicant shall be on merit, determined on the basis of marks of last exams, entry test and an interview.

HOW TO APPLY

All applicants are required to submit the following documents at the time of admission in the USA Admission office:
  • Two passport size photographs.
  • Two Photocopies of Applicant’s National Identity Card or B-Form.
  • Photocopy of Father/Guardian NIC.
  • Attested copies of all academic transcripts/certificates (mark sheets, degrees, certificates, diplomas, etc.)
  • Equivalence certificate from Relevant Board / Higher Education Commission of Pakistan in case of applicants with foreign qualifications.
  • Certificates of all extra curricular activities.
  • Experience Certificate (if applicable).
  • Letter of Recommendation (if applicable).
